It looks like all the english speaking people are very busy and don't have time to play with us...

Or maybe I wasn't clear in my explanations...or maybe you didn't understand that you had to clic on "ajouter un commentaire" which means"add a comment".

Anyway...I will give you the answer...

 

Those objects are a collection of coconut graters or the museum of arts and crafts of Kota Bharu, Malaisia.

The person in charge of grating the coconut sits of the sit and grates the coconut thanks to the metal "spoon" in front of him.

For those who saw pics of Romain grating coconuts for the preparation of the pork in New-Cal for last New-Year's eve will understand that it would have been much more easy and confortable with that sort of seats!

 

Grated cocnut is usually used for coconut milk, which is one of the main cooking ingredient for the currys and beef ketutuk of this part of Malaisia.

It can also ne used to produce coconut oil which is also widely used and exported...

 

Very clever object found everywere in South East asia!
