When we entered OZ waters, we have been checked 3 times by OZ "flying custom".

Usually a small aircraft flies around us couple of time, then call us on the VHF to check our port of reg., port of entry and next port of call…

 

The first time, we felt a bit like drug smugglers or something, with that aircraft flying so low over us and so obviously checking us out…

We are now getting used to it…but there is no way whatsoever that a boat would sail unoticed througth Australian waters…they seem to be quite serious about it…
